Here it is August already and I have not written one thing all summer. It has been busy in a weird sort of way. I can't say it was bad, just not always fun busy.
Well, Dante went to Hume Lake this week and just got home. I missed him so much. It was so good to see him. My boy came home a young man. He is such an amazing guy anyway, but this was very noticable.
He could not wait to tell me all about the new friends he made and what he did. he loved it sooo much he cannot wait until next summer. Wow!!! That's great because what a pain he was up until he boarded that bus to leave!!! LOL
He did and said everything he could think of to stay home. Funny how we are. Fear is always trying to get in and just ruin our fun.
So in the end he had just the "best time ever". Cool. As a Mom, that is the very best I could have ever heard.
Now Jake on the other hand...... Well, he went to summer school. Three hours a day for five days a week. So being busy this summer had to do with getting Jake off to school everyday. But the up side was how much free time I had too.
We are off to Kernville in 2 weeks and I cannot wait. We will get to go to the Lake and swim and picnic...ahhhhhhhh.
