Where is Jake???

The weekend is coming! The weekend is coming!! OK, I guess I like the weekends. It is just so much more relaxing than Monday through Friday.

Every morning Jake wakes me up at about 6 am. If not, it is because he is doing something that he should not be doing.

The other morning I woke up on my own and my bedroom was bright. My first thought was what time is it? It was almost 8:00. My next thought was JAKE!!! He was way to quiet and nowhere to be found. Eddie got up quickly and started calling his name with no answer. I could hear the garbage trucks outside and immediately thought he had figured out how to get out and did!

After about 4 times of Eddie calling his name, Jake finally said here I am dad and the next thing I heard was, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING"! YIKES!

Well, Jake was in our back bathroom, standing in the shower with no clothes on trying to get our dog in there with him so he could give him a bath. There was my hand lotion and hand soap all over the place. All over Jake, all over the dog and ALL over the bathroom.

You might think this is funny but I assure you it was not. Eddie caught him right before he got the water on all the way. Not to mention the mess but the water would have been so dangerous because he turned the hot on first. Oh my gosh my heart.

I have to admit that a few days later when my heart started to beat normal again, I did find it funny. Mmmmm, only a bit.

This little boy is my dare devil. If he sees it, he will try it. If he wants to do something, he just does it.

Recently Dante found a stash behind Jake's dresser. My body lotion, some of my jewelry, some of my hair products????? I just do not know why he thinks he needs all that stuff! LOL

He is my sweetheart though. he has a smile that would stop a truck. He is very smart and that is very scary.

So if you are a Mom of boys, I wish you luck and I will keep you in my prayers because I know just how much fun they can be!!!
